About
It’s very sad news about Cyrus Prabhu’s passing away.
It’s very unfortunate & unexpected as he seemed very happy & very active coming to the morning program at the temple, every day & chanting, dancing reading & doing various services at the temple.
Cyrus was a very wonderful, sincere & dedicated devotee & he was consciously making many sacrifices & efforts to be absorbed in Krishna consciousness & help people come closer on the spiritual path.
He will most certainly be remembered & missed by all the devotees & congregation members.
I am certain that Lord Krishna will take very good care of him on his onward journey & he will be placed in a very nice situation to continue advancing his love & service for Radha & Krishna.
I was very close to Cyrus prabhu & we did many services & adventures together.
He also had a great sense of humour & could easily make people feel comfortable & cheer them up.
This material world is an unpredictable & temporary place.
We are all just travelling through as passengers in different bodies, due to our karma.
however we don’t belong here, our real home is in the eternal spiritual world with Krishna.
Therefore we must continue to make every possible effort to develop our loving relationship with Krishna by practicing & wholeheartedly taking to the 9 processes of Krishna Bhakti, beginning with hearing & chanting & so forth & ultimately reaching Atma nivedanam full surrender to The Lord.
Please do offer prayers for Cyrus prabhu.
Many thanks
Hare Krishna

Dear Cyrus prabhu,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of your departure but I take solace knowing Krsna will surely take good care of such a sincere and dedicated servant.
Thank you for assisting me in services I was doing, your infectious enthusiasm for Krsna Consciousness, graceful dancing (always a joy to watch) and the simple act of acknowledging me as sometimes in a busy spiritual community like the manor, we can become lost in the crowd.
I’ll be praying for you as you embark on your onward journey to the Lord’s abode.
Hare Krsna.
Your servant,

Cyrus Prabhu had a big heart and a big smile – he carries so many blessings with him. When he danced the joy was infectious, and it seemed as though he had come to a point in life where nothing mattered as much as his spiritual growth. I’ll miss his company – when I was around him the weight of the world felt much lighter. Thank you Cyrus, you are a gem. May you find your way back into the dancing party of Sri Caitanya, or perhaps into the forest play of Sri Kṛṣṇa… as your heart is called… Your… Read more »

Cyrus Prabhuji, you will be missed, my dear friend. The mangal arti won’t be the same without you. You lit a spark in me, and since then I’ve never looked back—both in materially and spiritually. Your advice and guidance have been immeasurable. Guru pujas feel different since you’ve gone. Some stars are just too bright to stay with us for long. May you find shelter at Radharani’s lotus feet. — Your friend, Raj
