Bhaktivinoda Thakur
“He reasons ill who tells that Vaisnavas die
When thou art living still in sound!
The Vaisnavas die to live,
and living try To spread the holy name around!”
Immortality for the devotees
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 4.11.27
“Devotees who render continuous service to the Lord have already attained immortality, for whatever they are doing in this life they will continue to do in the next. They will simply change their material bodies for spiritual bodies.”
No fear of death
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 4.27.24
“Old age does not make a devotee fearful of death, as a common man is fearful of death… A devotee knows that after death he is going back home, back to Godhead; therefore he has no fear of death. Thus instead of depressing a devotee, advanced age helps him become fearless and thus happy.”
Dedication
This website is dedicated to His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who exemplified how to live one’s life in Krsna consciousness, in service to others, and in the end, also taught us how to leave this temporary world of birth and death.
It is in his name that we seek to give care and comfort to those who wish to follow in his sublime footsteps. We remember and honour those departed devotees in the Bhaktivedanta Manor community who are no longer with us.
