It is with a heavy heart that I beg to inform you that HG Radha Damodara prabhu has left his mortal body at 4pm today (Sunday Sept 8th). Throughout adult his life, he was a dedicated servant of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga. Prabhu was very attached to distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books wherever he was.

He was a great Life Member maker in the 1980s and supported Tribhuvanath prabhu’s Hare Krishna Festival prog via fund raising and book distribution. He lived in Vrindavan near the Krishna Balaram Mandir for many years distributing books every day in the Temple. He nursed his mother for several years at his home in Vrindavan, thus allowing her to leave her body in the holy Dham.
His earthly life was all auspicious as was his timely death on this auspicious day of Sita Thakurani’s appearance. I’ve known him since he joined the ashram in 1980 and have done a lot of service in his pure association. He was a life long bramachari and had very little or no material desires. He was a simple soul who was/is very attached to chanting and hearing the glories of Lord Shri Krishna.
Please offer some prayers for his onward journey to perfection.
