Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Yesterday evening on Monday 3rd January, on the most auspicious appearance day of Sri Locana Dasa Thakura (the author of Caitanya Mangal), my father, Anil Kantilal Ruparelia, breathed his last.
Not long before his leaving, he chanted the holy name one final time. Those were his last words. Surrounded by the maha-mantra, with his hand on the Srimad Bhagavatam and the divine waters of all the holy places on his lips and the sacred dust of the dhams adorning his forehead, he passed life’s final exam very peacefully.
Certainly moved by the prayers of the vaisnavas, Krsna orchestrated the most perfect departure.
My family and I are overwhelmed by the mercy that the devotees showered upon my father and we remain indebted to every single one of you for your precious prayers and well wishes.
