In 1988, after moving from Mauritius into Bhaktivedanta Manor’s ashram, she focused on cooking in the main kitchen as well as for the Deities. After marrying she moved to Bristol, where she had two loving children and helped run a sanga group.
After moving back to the Manor area, she became known for cooking generously for the many devotee guests she hosted, as well as for foster children.

Paurnamasi was one of the loveliest devotees I’ve known. We shared many sweet times together while living in the asrama. I remember one day when we went on book distribution, (something she found very difficult), my car broke down and I had to wait for it to be repaired. Paurnamasi, despite this and her fear of approaching people,went out the whole day alone and distributed many books. I will always remember Purna Masi as the sweet loving mother to all and most of all a joyous soul, always generous with her kindeness and love for the devotees. I remember when when we would visit her she would always feed us with the most tremendous prashad always lovingly prepared, her spirit of sharing was magnanamous. I remember when she and her husband had moved from bristol she was so happy to come back to the area she said we have come back home I am now near Radha Gokulananda. I have known Paurnamassi for 26 years, since she came to stay in the Manchester Temple to cook for the Govindas restaurant which had opened. We immediately clicked and became close friends. She had such a great sense of humour and warm motherly nature and would always make me laugh and feed me generously. We remained close friends after she left Manchester temple to return to Bhaktivedanta Manor and remained so for all these years.
